Just a bit about me...
I graduated from UMSL in December of 2013 with degrees in
Math and Education. I enjoy being in nature, playing disc golf, and being
around family. I have an older brother, a younger brother, and two dogs. My
brothers and I just ran a Zombie 5k in Memphis, TN and are now signed up for
the Turkey Trot (a 6k) on Thanksgiving Day.
Before moving to St. Louis six years ago, I lived in a small
town in Mississippi. Once moving here, I quickly became overwhelmed by city
life. When driving to Winfield for the first time, I called my parents because
I was so excited that I found the ‘country’ in Missouri. That’s when I knew I
Winfield was the place for me.
I am currently teaching mostly 6th grade math
with one section of 7th and one section of Algebra 1. This year I am
branching out in to the field of coaching. I just finished my first year as the
‘C’ Team Volleyball coach at the High School. In November, I will begin
coaching girls’ basketball at the High School. Even though this is my first
year in Winfield, I have been teaching for two years now. I am so glad I have
the opportunity to work with such a great community. It truly has been a
blessing thus far.
